横浜市相鉄本線「星川」駅構内にある、Creativity（創造）×Circularity（循環）×Culture（文化）をコンセプトとするショップ＆ギャラリー施設「Sta.R（ステーション・アール）」のために制作したカウンターテーブル。
駅構内で回収されたペットボトルキャップを、「株式会社湘南貿易」様に板材に加工していただき、カウンターのテーブルトップに使用した。回収したペットボトルキャップの色によって天板の配色が変化する。溶解しプレスする際に生じる独特の吸い込まれるような模様がまた面白い。非常に短命な素材も、本来の使い方と違う運命を辿ることで次のストーリーへと繋がっていく。

A counter table created for “Sta.R (Station R),” a shop and gallery facility located inside Hoshikawa Station on the Sotetsu Main Line in Yokohama, which is based on the concepts of Creativity, Circularity, and Culture.
Shonan Trading Co., Ltd. processed PET bottle caps collected within the station into sheet material, which we then used for the counter’s tabletop. The color scheme of the tabletop varies depending on the colors of the collected PET bottle caps. The unique, swirling patterns that emerge during the melting and pressing process are particularly intriguing. Even materials with a very short lifespan can lead to a new story by taking a path different from their original intended use.
